Recommendation!
PASMO is a rechargeable contact less smart card ticketing system for public transport to be introduced in Tokyo from March 18, 2007. Pasmo is a development of the Passnet system used by many JR railway lines and subway and
Bus in the Tokyo region.
PAS from PASSNET and MO from "more" were combined to create the name PASMO. Also, with the Japanese "mo" meaning "&", PASMO describes a system that similar to PASSNET and usable on both trains "&" buses. The name implies our intention to expand the system to cover train journeys, bus journeys, and many other uses.
Very Convenient!
